ABOUT ME
I am Anastasia Polyak. I don’t just press the shutter button — I write the visual history of your brand.
Fine art photography, high fashion, and documentary reportage are different territories of my single artistic vision. My creative style has been shaped by years of practice at the intersection of art and the fashion industry. In my artistic portfolio, I proudly emphasize that my key fine art works are created in a single frame, with no digital manipulation or heavy retouching. For me, it is a matter of professional risk, discipline, and precise geometry.
Flash freezes and kills the air. I work exclusively with live, constantly changing natural light on set — capturing that accidental sunbeam through a window, the play of reflections, and the genuine atmosphere of the moment.
A fashion show on the runway lasts just a fraction of a minute — that is where the final result is seen. My goal as an official fashion photographer is to look behind the scenes and reveal the backstage process of its birth. In my photographs, real life comes alive: final touch-ups, concentration, the emotions of models a second before stepping onto the runway, the texture of fabrics, and the hands of designers creating the look.

“It is much more important that spaces begin to look different after your gaze. If art begins where the world ceases to seem obvious, then photography is a way not just to fix reality, but to discover in it what we might not have seen without the author.”
